Job summary

Neighborgood Care in Marblehead, MA is seeking a compassionate CNA or HHA to provide high-quality in-home or facility-based care. You will support clients with ADLs, medication needs, meals, and social activities while documenting progress and coordinating with the care team.

The role requires CNA or HHA certification, a high school diploma, and at least 2 years of healthcare experience. Lifting up to 40 pounds may be required; Foley catheter and transfers experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare education preferred.
• Experience in healthcare setting recommended (minimum 2 years).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with medication management and other medical needs as necessary.
• Prepare meals and snacks; encourage healthy eating habits.
• Engage clients in activities and outings to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and progress.
• Collaborate with care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Advocate for clients' rights and interests.
