Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a compassionate Special Care Attendant to provide essential home-based care to patients. You’ll help clients maintain independence, deliver supportive services, and work under the guidance of the Care Team Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred (based on state requirements).
• Experience providing care to the elderly and/or disabled in the home or a health care setting preferred.
• Good communication, compassionate, dependable, organized, and flexible.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Reliable transportation to perform job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide valuable services to patients in the home or health care setting as a Special Care Attendant.
• Deliver care and support to help patients live independently.
• Report to the Care Team Supervisor.
• Assist with daily activities and monitor patients' wellbeing as part of a compassionate care team.
