Job summary

Piedmont Crossing, Thomasville, NC, part of the EveryAge family, seeks a compassionate Home Care Assistant/Scheduler to support in-home care under a licensed nurse. You will help with direct patient care and essential scheduling tasks to ensure efficient service delivery.

You will maintain records, assist with audits, and uphold confidentiality while coordinating staffing and administrative duties in a fast-paced home care setting.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or completion of CNA program.
• Current CNA registration in state Nurse Aide Registry.
• Minimum 18 years of age and ability to pass competency evaluation if required.
• Commitment to 12 hours of in-service education annually.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Coordinate staffing schedules and PAL requests; maintain assignment sheets and master schedules.
• Perform clerical duties and office support; maintain confidentiality and documentation.
