Job summary

As a Personal Care Assistant you will perform daily living activities, assist with mobility, prepare meals, provide companionship, and support with appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA/Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and mobility throughout the home.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, shaving, and general hygiene.
• Provide medication reminders and support.
