Qualifications

• Previous experience in home care or direct support is preferred.
• Knowledge of resident rights and dementia care is a plus.

• Basic first aid knowledge is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks including meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
• Escort clients to appointments, outings, and social activities.
• Monitor and report changes in client's condition or behavior.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
