Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network seeks a compassionate Home Care Aide to support individuals with developmental disabilities and seniors in their homes. You will follow each client’s plan of care and assist with daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, and transportation as needed.

The role emphasizes non-medical support, safety, and companionship, with required readiness to work closely with families and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
• Must be able to work independently.
• Mental Health Training highly preferred.
• Must be physically and mentally capable of caring for clients with disabilities or seniors.

Responsibilities

• Care for a child or adult with special needs or seniors in non-medical tasks.
• Implement client care plans and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with feeding, dressing, bathing, toileting and mobility as needed.
• Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments or errands.
• Support families with household tasks, meal planning and shopping as required.
• Ensure safety and protective supervision per client plan and agency guidelines.
