Job summary

Home Instead is hiring caregivers across Sonoma County, with most client opportunities in Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, and Petaluma. Choose from weekday, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts, with schedules matched to client needs and availability.

Provide one-on-one care in clients' homes, assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship to help clients stay safe and independent.

Qualifications

• Availability for at least two recurring shifts each week with the same client or clients.
• Comfort providing hands-on personal care.
• Ability to assist with transfers.
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to complete required compliance, registration, and licensing steps.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care in clients’ homes.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Support clients with safe mobility and transfers.
• Prepare meals and complete light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and help clients stay safe and independent at home.
