Job summary

Synergy HomeCare North Atlanta is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients at home. You will help with personal care, meals, and light housekeeping while monitoring health needs and reporting changes to nurses.

Requirements include current CPR certification, a TB test on file within 12 months (or willingness to obtain), and at least 1 year of hands-on patient care experience. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification.
• TB Test on file within the last 12 months (or willing to obtain).
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on patient care experience (home care, assisted living, hospice, etc.).
• Reliable Transportation and a valid driver's license - prompt arrival is mandatory.
• Warmth, patience, and a genuine desire to help others feel safe and supported.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
• Meal planning and preparation, plus light housekeeping tasks
• Monitoring vital signs as directed and reporting changes to the nursing staff
• Medication reminders and support with daily exercises
• Engaging clients through conversation, games, walks, and hobbies
• Keeping accurate, timely records of care provided
