Job summary

Synergy HomeCare in Georgia is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support for clients who wish to remain independent at home.

You will assist with personal care, meal planning, light housekeeping, monitor vital signs, remind about medications, and engage clients through activities while keeping accurate records. A valid CPR certification and reliable transportation are required; a driver’s license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• CPR certification must be verifiable.
• TB test on file within 12 months or willing to obtain.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on patient care experience in home care, assisted living, or hospice.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license; punctual arrival required.
• Warmth, patience and genuine desire to help others feel safe and supported.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
• Meal planning and preparation, plus light housekeeping tasks
• Monitoring vital signs as directed and reporting changes to the nursing staff
• Medication reminders and support with daily exercises
• Engaging clients through conversation, games, walks, and hobbies
• Keeping accurate, timely records of care provided
