Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Ohio is seeking compassionate caregivers to help older adults live safely and joyfully at home. No experience required; ongoing training and support are provided. Competitive pay and flexible schedules are highlighted, with weekends and overnights offering differential pay.

You’ll provide companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and assist with ADLs while building meaningful relationships with clients and their families.

Qualifications

• Compassion, patience, reliability and a heart for serving older adults.
• Background check and motor vehicle screening required.
• Driver’s license preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care: companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, safety support.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, grooming, and safe mobility (training provided).
• Engage with clients — doing tasks with them, not just for them.
• Bring joy by participating in activities they enjoy, such as conversation or outings.
• Build trusted, respectful relationships with clients and their families.
• Communicate observations and updates to the office.
