Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Home Care Aide to provide compassionate at-home care for seniors in the Red Bluff area. Shift options include Manton with 5p-8p windows and surrounding areas, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour and weekly pay.

Build skills through online training and CEUs while maintaining 1:1 client ratios. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, medication reminders, and ensuring a safe home environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Six months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
• Clear Background Check & Drug Screen (THC not tested).
• Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document conditions and notify a supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
