Job summary
Nurse Next Door San Mateo is hiring Home Care Aides for one-on-one in-home support in South San Francisco. Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide (HHA) program or equivalent.
- 1+ year of experience in home-health, hospice, or facility.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills for digital logs.
- Willingness to earn CPR certification within 30 days.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized daily living assistance to clients.
- Maintain a healthy home environment for clients.
- Conduct medication and wellness checks as required.
- Engage clients in mind-body activities to keep them alert.
- Document care notes and communicate changes to RN.
Skills
Completion of Home Health Aide (HHA) program
At least 1 year of paid experience
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong written and verbal communication
CPR certification
Genuine desire to foster trust and dignity
