Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Northern Illinois in Rockford is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides to help seniors live safely and happily at home. You'll provide daily living support, companionship, and mobility assistance as needed.

You’ll earn $19-22 per hour, set your own schedule, and access online training with CEUs plus tuition discounts through Rasmussen University. Join a national leader in home care dedicated to patient-first care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role (preferred).
• CPR certification.
• Valid IL driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, good communicator, and helpful by nature.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support for seniors at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals).
• Support mobility and transfers, and monitor safety.
• Reminders for medications and report concerns to supervisor.
• Engage clients in activities to promote well-being.
