Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Northeast Ohio is seeking compassionate Caregiver/Home Care Aide to support older adults living safely at home. You’ll provide companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and mobility support with patience and respect.

No clinical duties required; training is provided. The role offers paid onboarding, flexible schedules, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for growth within a supportive team that values your dedication to elevating the human spirit.

Qualifications

• Compassion, patience, reliability, and a heart for serving older adults.
• Background check and motor vehicle screening required.
• Reliable transportation to assignments required.
• Driver’s license preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care: companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, safety support.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, grooming, and safe mobility (training provided).
• Engage with clients — doing tasks with them, not just for them.
• Bring joy by participating in activities they enjoy, conversation, hobbies, or outings.
• Build trusted, respectful relationships with clients and their families.
• Communicate observations and updates to the office.
