Job summary

Right at Home Westside is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors and adults with disabilities in the Los Angeles area. You will assist with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation to appointments, and medication reminders, with paid training and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• Home Care Aide registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and transferring/moving client around the home.
• Perform light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, floors, dishes, laundry, bathroom).
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments.
• Provide bathing/showering/dressing/shaving as needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Provide dementia care and companionship through activities like reading or music.
