Job summary

Addus HomeCare in New Mexico is seeking Ambercare Certified Nurse Aides to provide in-home care, delivering life-changing service to clients and learning the fundamentals of quality home care. This entry-level role offers flexible hours and daily pay opportunities, supporting seniors and people with disabilities in their own homes.

Carry out personal care, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, and report changes to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to compassionately care for others.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take medication at the appropriate time.
• Assist clients with therapy exercises under the direction of a Registered Therapist.
• Assist or perform personal care including hair care, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Assist with routine bodily functions.
• Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment through light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and stimulation, including reading or walks.
• Observe and report changes in client’s condition to supervisors.
