Job summary

Care Planning Institute, Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide to assist an elderly male Veteran in Lake Isabella, CA. The role focuses on bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility to help the client stay independent at home.

The position is long-term, part-time (10 hours/week) with a base rate of $23/hour plus a $4/hour bonus when all agreed shifts are completed per pay period, paid as a W-2 employee. Experience as a caregiver is required; we can train on job specifics.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver is required.
• We can train on the specifics of the job.
• A TB skin test may be required and a background check will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Assist an elderly male client with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility to stay independent at home.
• Provide compassionate in-home support and monitor safety during care sessions.
