Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Massachusetts is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in daily activities, hygiene, mobility, meals, and companionship. You will work under an RN supervisor, ensuring patient-centered care and safety in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English
• Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience
• Nursing students seeking patient care experience
• Home care experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and caring nature
• Ability to follow a care plan with compassionate care
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to pass background checks

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to maintain dignity and comfort
• Assist with mobility, transfers, light exercise or walking
• Prepare and serve meals for healthy eating
• Medication reminders and training provided
• Provide companionship and engage in activities to brighten each day
• Show enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and motivation to provide excellent care
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment
• Occasional transportation for appointments or errands with mileage reimbursement
• Demonstrate dedication to clients and teamwork with the agency
