Job summary

Flat Irons Flex Care in Boulder, CO is seeking a Personal Care Provider (CNA) to deliver non-medical home care to clients in their homes. You will assist with activities of daily living, maintain a safe environment, and provide compassionate companionship according to each client’s care plan.

Responsibilities include home safety checks, meal prep, light housekeeping, mobility assistance, ADLs, reminders for medications, and complete visit documentation with date, time, services, and client

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Free from communicable diseases or health conditions that may affect safety.
• Completion of required home care training and competency evaluation before direct client care.
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Observe and help maintain a safe and secure home environment.
• Report safety concerns to management.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and dishwashing.
• Assist clients with appointments and community activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other ADLs as outlined in care plan.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with limited health-related tasks as allowed.
• Complete visit documentation including date, time in/out, services performed, and client signature.
