VitalCaring is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) for PRN work in the Galveston area. You will provide compassionate, hands-on support in patients' homes, including personal care and help with daily activities, while collaborating with clinical teams to ensure comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates are dependable, have CPR certification, and can follow care plans with strong time management. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for in-home visits.

Qualifications

• Meets state and federal requirements for Home Health Aide certification or training.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, follow care plans, and document services provided.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management skills.
• Demonstrates empathy, patience, and professionalism in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care for patient comfort, safety, and independence.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support mobility, transfers, and basic exercises per care plan.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and assist with meals.
• Record vitals and medication assistance as directed.
• Document care accurately in the EMR system and report changes.
