Job summary

Always Compassionate Health provides compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) and Personal Care Aide (PCA) roles across New York. Start pay is $18.65 per hour, with rates varying by location and assignment, and multiple schedules including full-time, part-time, per diem and live-in opportunities.

Caregivers help clients live safely and independently at home, with opportunities to work on traditional home care, NHTD, and TBI cases, building meaningful client relationships while following

Qualifications

• Certified New York State Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide, as applicable.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful.
• Dependable and trustworthy.
• Good communicator and listener.
• Able to follow individualized Plan of Care and agency policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care needs.
• Help clients safely walk, transfer, reposition, and move throughout their homes.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining proper nutrition.
• Provide light housekeeping and help maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Help clients maintain as much independence as possible.
• Remind clients to take medications as directed in their Plan of Care.
• Assist with approved errands and community activities.
• Support clients participating in NHTD and TBI waiver programs when assigned.
