Job summary

Eagle Home Care in New York, NY is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist clients with daily living and personal care at home. You will help with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, and accompany clients to appointments, while providing companionship and emotional support.

Daily tasks include medication reminders and light housework. Certification in NY as HHA or PCA is required; hours are flexible to fit a personal schedule. Health insurance and PTO may be included.

Qualifications

• Must hold NY-certified HHA or PCA.
• Experience with elderly care preferred.
• Ability to provide personal care and daily living assistance.
• Ability to follow care plans and respect privacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Prepare meals and snacks for clients.
• Accompany clients to errands, shopping and medical appointments.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Perform light housework: cleaning, dishes, bathrooms, linen, laundry.
