Job summary

Summit Home Care is seeking HHA/PCA certified caregivers to provide compassionate, reliable in-home care for our patients in New York. You will perform daily living tasks, personal care, meal assistance, and accompany patients to appointments, while maintaining the dignity and safety of those served.

We offer flexible schedules, daily access to your pay, and union benefits. Applicants must have NYS HHA cert and be able to pass screening requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS Home Health Aide Certificate.
• Government Issued ID, Social Security Card & Work Authorization, if needed.
• 2 Recommendation Letters.
• Recent Physical.
• TB Screening (Quantiferon preferred).
• Flu shot.
• Rubella & Rubeola titer lab work.
• Chain of Custody Drug Screen no older than 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Daily personal care (bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, etc.).
• Assist with the daily living activities per the Plan of Care.
• Monitor patients and report on their condition.
• Help with patient meals and feeding, as well as basic housekeeping functions.
• Accompany the patient to doctor\'s visits, shopping, and other essential errands.
