Rockaway Home Care is hiring certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) to support clients throughout Dutchess County, New York, including Poughkeepsie, Beacon, Rhinebeck and surrounding communities. You will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, ADLs, mobility, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, and documenting care per each plan of care.

Qualifications

• New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Compassion and respect for clients are essential.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Previous home care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Helping with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Providing mobility and transfer assistance.
• Preparing meals and assisting with daily routines.
• Providing medication reminders as permitted.
• Performing light housekeeping related to client care.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition.
• Completing required care documentation.
• Following the client's established plan of care.
