Rockaway Home Care is hiring certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) to serve clients across Westchester County, NY in their homes. We offer flexible scheduling and a match-based placement to fit your preferred location and availability.

As an HHA, you will provide compassionate, in-home care, help with ADLs, mobility, meals, and offer companionship, with support from our office and clinical teams. Prior home care experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifikationen

• New York State HHA certificate is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Dependable and compassionate approach to caregiving.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, respectful in-home care.
• Home care experience is a plus, but not required.

Aufgaben

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Helping with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assisting with mobility and transfers.
• Preparing meals and assisting with mealtime routines.
• Providing medication reminders as permitted.
• Performing light housekeeping related to client care.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Observing clients and reporting changes in condition.
• Completing required care documentation.
• Following the client's established plan of care.
