Summit Home Care, a family-owned agency on Long Island, is seeking Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for live-in and hourly cases. Candidates must speak English fluently and be willing to drive to patients.

We offer starting pay $20-$25 per hour depending on experience, weekly pay, paid sick time, flexible schedule, health insurance (full-time), 24/7 on-call clinical support, and an Employee Referral Bonus Program.

Qualifikationen

• Active HHA certification in NY is required.
• Government Issued ID, Social Security Card & Work Authorization, if needed.
• 2 Recommendation Letters are required.
• Recent Physical exam.
• TB screening (Quantiferon preferred).
• Flu shot.
• Rubella & Rubeola titer lab work.
• Drug Screen no older than 6 months.
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.

Aufgaben

• Provide health care services in patients' residences.
• Perform domestic and household tasks.
• Accompany patients to doctor’s appointments.
• Assist with errands, as needed.
• Help clients with personal care.
• Monitor patients and report on their condition.
