Job summary

Alliance Homecare in Nassau County, Long Island is seeking dependable and compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our private-duty care team. You will provide high-quality, personalized care to clients and help with daily tasks according to each client's plan of care.

We offer $21/hour starting pay with weekly pay, flexible day and night shifts (4 to 12 hours), paid orientation, and benefits including health insurance, 401(k), sick pay and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Active New York State HHA Certificate.
• 6+ months of HHA experience.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Take and record vital signs as directed.
• Report changes in condition to the RN.
• Provide care according to the client's plan of care.
