Job summary

Right at Home Charleston, SC is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes around Mount Pleasant. Training will be provided, and flexible schedules help you balance personal commitments with meaningful work.

You will assist with activities of daily living, provide medication reminders as needed, perform light housekeeping and laundry, and offer companionship to clients in a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care.
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check.
• Experience as a Home Health Aide in health care (in homes or facilities).

Responsibilities

• Assist with eating, personal hygiene, dressing, shaving, and other daily activities.
• Provide light housekeeping and laundry support.
• Assist with prescribed range-of-motion exercises and dementia care.
• Offer companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, and conversation.
