Job summary

Right at Home is seeking caring individuals to provide in-home assistance to seniors and adults with disabilities. Training will prepare you to support daily living activities, personal care, and companionship in a respectful, compassionate manner.

We offer flexible scheduling, paid training, and opportunities for advancement. A valid driver’s license, English proficiency, and a background check are required to ensure safe, quality care for clients.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care.
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check.
• Must have successfully completed a Competency Evaluation that meets the State licensing law for home health agencies.
• 6 months experience as a Home Health Aide in health care (in homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide course.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, dressing and grooming.
• Provide companionship through reading, music, puzzles and social interaction.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation.
• Help with medication reminders and range of motion exercises as directed.
• Support client safety and independence in the home environment.
