Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will clean public areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms, ensuring surfaces are sanitized and free of debris.

You will follow safety protocols, use cleaning equipment properly, and report safety concerns to supervisors. A high school diploma is preferred and strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and understand procedure and instruction manuals and directions.
• Basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors.
• Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Wipe down handrails to keep them free of dust and debris.
• Remove dirt, dust, and food from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use supplies according to manufacturer instructions.
• Report resident safety concerns immediately to the Director of Housekeeping or Administrator.
