Job summary

The Housekeeper at PACS is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors in our post-acute care facilities. This role supports a healthy and comfortable living space by eliminating odors, debris, and hazards and by following established cleaning protocols.

You will clean public areas and resident rooms, sanitize bathrooms, wipe surfaces, operate cleaning equipment, and store supplies securely.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand procedure/instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to work independently or with others in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public and common areas (lobbies, restrooms, floors).
• Sanitize resident rooms and bathrooms regularly.
• Wipe down surfaces, walls, fixtures, and dispensers.
• Empty trash and replace liners; sweep and mop floors.
• Operate cleaning equipment per manufacturer instructions and store supplies safely.
• Report safety concerns and supply needs to supervisors.
• Work efficiently to meet facility standards, either independently or as part of a team.
