Job summary

Trinity Health seeks a part-time Spiritual Care professional to deliver compassionate spiritual support to patients, families, and staff within the local ministry. You will assess spiritual needs, provide interventions, and document care within the electronic medical record as part of an inter-professional team.

You should bring a Master’s in Theology or related field, CPE training, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Theology, Religion, Spiritual Care or Spirituality.
1–3 years of Spiritual Care experience including CPE training.
Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) strongly preferred with ACPE education.
Ability to plan, develop, and implement programs for spiritual care objectives.
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills; able to present to groups.

Responsibilities

Provide spiritual care to patients, residents, families, and colleagues across the care continuum.
Assess religious and spiritual needs and arrange interventions or referrals as needed.
Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR with care plans.
Collaborate with the Spiritual Care Manager and inter-professional team to improve processes.
Foster workplace spirituality and opportunities for interfaith activities.
