Job summary

Innovative Senior Home Care LLC is seeking a Geriatric Aid to provide compassionate, non-medical in-home support for seniors, helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. The role emphasizes companionship, daily activity help, and basic household support rather than medical care.

The aide works with an individualized care plan, reports changes to the office, and collaborates with the team to ensure consistent, high-quality service in a flexible schedule environment.

Qualifications

• Caregiving tasks including personal care, mobility support, and basic household help.
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of elderly health issues and safety practices.
• Ability to maintain accurate client care records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors in their homes.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and safe transfers.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals and support dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping and keep a clean, safe living environment.
• Offer medication reminders, appointment reminders, and daily routines organization.
• Provide safe transportation or escort for errands and appointments as assigned.
• Observe changes in client condition and report to supervisor promptly.
• Follow care plans and infection-control, safety, and documentation standards.
