Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home is seeking a dedicated team member to support the care, removal and transport of human remains in accordance with state and company policies. The role emphasizes empathy, safety, and respectful service to families.

Responsibilities include transporting the deceased, maintaining vehicles and equipment, and collaborating with staff while upholding professional standards and strong work ethics.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English fluently with professional courtesy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate effectively with grieving client families and internal/external partners.
• Demonstrates empathy, tact and patience in emotionally charged situations.
• Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing and exercising good judgment.

Responsabilités

• Transport the deceased from hospital, nursing facility or residence to the mortuary or funeral home.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, supplies and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Adhere to Edification Policies/Procedures and company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned; demonstrate teamwork and customer service orientation.
• Exhibit time management and attention to detail in daily tasks.
