Job summary

Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas, is seeking a Part-Time Funeral Service Assistant to support funeral services and related preparations, both during and after events. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift, pull, and push 150 lbs or more.
• Prior customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and databases; willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with removals of decedents and prepare for services.
• Prepare and set up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, and keepsakes.
• Handle office duties: phones, faxes, computers, and scheduling.
• Run errands for floral deliveries and supplies; provide ushering and transportation as needed.
• Greet families, support visitations, and maintain confidentiality.
