Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited mortuary science program.
• Current Funeral Director license in the practicing state.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience in funeral arrangement and MC duties preferred.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive family interactions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Arrangements Conference with families, confirming details and needs.
• Preside as Master of Ceremonies during visitation, funeral, and graveside services.
• Coordinate services with preparation staff and vendors to meet contracts.
• Interacts with families to fulfill death care requests and upsell services.
• Oversee event planning aspects such as music, flowers, and catering.
• Provide guidance to the services team and ensure regulatory compliance.
