Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a funeral assistant preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Availability to work on-call weekdays and weekends as needed.
• Strong communication skills and integrity.
• Ability to lift 100lbs safely.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clear driving record.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, conduct, and direct funeral and memorial ceremonies professionally.
• Inform families and obtain authorization to proceed with service arrangements.
• Assist with chapel, church services and cemetery.
• Deliver flowers, caskets, urns, and keepsakes.
• Drive funeral vehicles when required.
• Perform office duties and prepare reports as necessary.
• Maintain vehicles, facility, and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and regulations.
• Complete and prepare data entry related to services.
