Job summary

Health Connect America is seeking Professional Foster Parents to provide a stable, nurturing home for children across Florida. Whether in your own home or a provided residence, you offer presence, routine, and a steady caregiver anchor.

The role includes staying engaged with licensed processes, training, and a supportive team available 24/7, plus monthly reimbursements to help cover care costs. A compassionate, patient caregiver who can handle challenging situations is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Must successfully complete required background checks.
• Must complete the foster home approval and training process.
• Must be willing to collaborate with Health Connect America and the child’s care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide a stable, continuous presence for the children in your care.
• Meet the child’s physical, emotional, educational, social, spiritual, and cultural needs with a trauma-informed approach.
• Participate in decisions and meetings including court hearings and school planning.
• Coordinate medical, dental, and mental health care as needed.
• Keep the home safe, welcoming, and report concerns about a child’s wellbeing.
