Job summary

Chelsea Place Care Center in Hartford, CT is seeking a Dietetic Assistant to support daily dietary operations for residents. The role involves cleaning food preparation areas, assembling food trays, and assisting with nourishments and beverages as part of a coordinated meal service.

Responsibilities include following meal schedules, preparing meals and snacks, and maintaining cleanliness of kitchens and related areas to ensure safe food handling and quality service for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow time schedules for meal preparation and serving.
• Must be able to speak, read and write the English language clearly and understandably.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Some previous experience preferred in Healthcare industry

Responsibilities

• Helps prepares hot and cold foods and beverages. Maintains and follows all meal schedules.
• Prepares trays with proper and accurate food items, as well as transports meals.
• Prepares snacks and nourishments for residents
• Cleans food preparation areas as well as dishes, utensils, glasses, cups etc.
