Qualifications

• Must be dependable with a consistent schedule.
• Previous caregiving or home/community care experience preferred.
• Familiarity with memory care techniques a plus.
• Knowledge of care plans and their implementation beneficial.
• Strong empathy and communication with clients.
• Ability to prepare nutritious meals per dietary needs.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.
• Must pass state background checks.
• Must be over 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Provide standby assistance.
• Help prepare meals.
• Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, organizing).
• Maintain records of care provided.
• Monitor and report changes to health to family or providers.
• Provide transportation for errands and appointments.
