Job summary

Rolling Hills Developmental Center is seeking a full-time housekeeping staff member to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable facility. Duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, moving furniture, waste disposal, and routine cleaning of fixtures daily.

Applicants must be 18 or older and in good health, with ability to read and write clearly to follow instructions and prepare written reports when necessary. On-site work with supervision from the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and in good health, physically and mentally.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors daily.
• Dust furniture, light fixtures, lamps, window ledges and wardrobes daily.
• Move furniture in rooms and clean in corners, behind furniture and under beds daily.
• Empty and change liners in waste cans/baskets daily.
• Clean and wash basins, toilets, lavatories and fixtures daily.
• Polish wood and chrome furniture as directed.
• Spot walls and doors daily.
• Keep equipment and carts clean and in good working order.
