Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. seeks a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness of the Facility, including resident rooms, bathrooms, dining areas, hallways, and offices, following safety policies and protecting resident confidentiality.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, stripping/waxing floors, dusting, cleaning windows, and preparing areas after meals. Must read/write English, have basic computer skills, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Facility’s personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Report witnessed or reported allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Administrator, Director of Nursing or Charge Nurse on Duty.
• Vacuum resident rooms, halls and common areas with carpeting and sweep/mop tile floors.
• Clean bathrooms, mirrors, windows and high areas; move furniture as needed.
• Ensure infection control and fire safety compliance; protect resident confidentiality.
