Job summary

Heritage Senior Living is seeking a dependable and caring Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and employees. This role involves cleaning resident apartments and communal areas, handling laundry, and adhering to infection-control procedures while supporting a resident-centered community.

You’ll work as part of a team under supervision, promoting a homelike setting and ensuring the wellbeing of residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Qualifications: Prior housekeeping, environmental services, hotel, healthcare, senior living or related experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident living areas, bathrooms, dining areas, offices, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and deep-clean carpets and upholstery as needed.
• Collect and launder resident laundry or assist with laundry according to procedures.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures; report hazards.
• Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful, and compassionate manner.
• Complete documentation in required systems and logs.
