Job summary

Right at Home of Southern Arizona is seeking a caring Caregiver in Safford, AZ to support veterans and older adults with daily activities. This role offers hourly pay between $16 and $18 and flexible scheduling, with training provided regardless of prior experience.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation assistance, and reminders for medications. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Compassion and concern for veterans and older adults.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have your own insured automobile.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with ambulation/transfers.
• Assist with eating and feeding.
• Assist with dressing and grooming.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• accompany clients on errands or medical appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Provide medication reminders and support.
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Assist with special diets.
• Support understanding of dementia care.
• Provide incontinence care.
