Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must meet in-service training requirements.

• Able to organize time with minimal supervision.
• Able to work well in a team.
• Well-groomed and able to follow dress requirements.
• Cheerful, enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• General understanding of seniors' needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily activities as outlined in resident plans.
• Assist with medications/treatments as indicated.
• Respond to emergency call system promptly.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Provide housekeeping to maintain clean, safe environment.
• Support social/recreational activities and encourage participation.
• Monitor changes in residents and report them per procedures.
• Report abuse to supervisor or agencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
