Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in Newport, Oregon seeks caring caregivers to support clients with daily living activities including household tasks, meal prep, grooming, and companionship. You may transport clients in your own vehicle and will be part of a trusted team serving Lincoln City, Newport and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• Able to lift 10–50 lbs.
• Must own a smartphone and have a vehicle to transport clients.
• Able to pass state and national background checks.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
• State-required caregiver/HCA training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (household chores, cooking, bathing, grooming).
• Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies.
• Drive clients to store or appointments as needed in own vehicle.
• Monitor and report client condition and changes.
• Support clients with meals and personal care.
• Observe safety and report concerns to supervisors.
