Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a compassionate and reliable Community Caregiver to support elderly clients in their own homes across East London. The role focuses on daily living activities, companionship, safety, and well-being to help seniors live with dignity in their communities.

You will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation to appointments, and engage clients in activities.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver or home health aide experience.
• Patience, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping to support daily living.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities such as conversation, reading, or light exercise.
• Monitor clients' well-being and report any changes in condition or concerns to the supervisor or family promptly.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings as needed.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for all clients.
