Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking caring individuals to provide in-home care for seniors in Missouri. You will assist with daily activities, medication reminders, and mobility support to help clients maintain independence in their own homes.

This role emphasizes companionship, safety, and respect, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive team environment. Prior caregiving experience is welcome, and CPR/First Aid knowledge is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• CPR and First Aid certification is required or preferred.
• Strong communication skills to connect with clients and families.
• Reliability and commitment to being available when needed.
• Patience and empathy in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities and mobility to support independence.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with routine therapies as directed.
• Offer companionship and engage in conversations to improve well-being.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation to maintain a safe home.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities to preserve connection.
• Ensure client safety by staying alert and responsive to needs.
