Job summary

KPB International in Kentucky seeks compassionate caregivers to assist elderly clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting, and mobility. You will provide care, companionship, and reassurance while promoting safety and dignity.

Experience with dementia or memory problems is valued. Applicants with healthcare backgrounds such as nurse or nursing assistant will receive special consideration.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for patients or the elderly, especially those with dementia or memory problems.
• Healthcare background (nurse, nursing assistant) is preferred.
• Kind, compassionate, service-minded, responsible, and safety-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting, and mobility.
• Providing care, companionship, and reassurance to the elderly.
• Reminding them to take medication according to the care plan.
• Caring for patients with chronic illnesses, mobility limitations, post-hospital recovery, and dementia/Alzheimer's patients.
• Monitoring, observing, and recording physical and cognitive symptoms, and reporting any abnormalities immediately.
• Performing light household chores directly related to patient care.
