Job summary

Presbyterian Villages of Michigan in Detroit, MI seeks a compassionate CN A to support elders with daily living activities within the Green House community. You will assist with bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, and comfort, while upholding dignity and HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities include vital sign monitoring, care-plan documentation, coordination with the PACE team, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• Six months to one year related experience.
• Must have ability to operate a computer.
• Operate Electronic Medical Records.
• MI Certified Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Protect, sustain, and nurture elders by assisting with activities of daily living and meeting needs.
• Provide care in a gentle, empathetic, efficient, and timely manner with dignity and respect.
• Assure call device is worn or within reach and answered promptly.
• Provide care of elder and environment, including cooking, laundry, and housekeeping.
• Administer medications/treatments as prescribed by physician.
• Measure and record vital signs as requested by nurse or physician.
• Document care as needed based on the elder’s Service Plan.
• Observe for symptoms requiring medical attention and report findings.
